Melanie Corbett with 22 years of experience in tax foreclosure work, all as Mark’s assistant. Melanie is an integral part of our Skip Trace Group. Licensed by the North Carolina State Bar in 2007, Melanie is a North Carolina Certified Paralegal.

Service of Process by Publication is a costly and time-consuming part of the property tax foreclosure process but is necessary if all parties in an action have not been served by sheriff or certified mail. Melanie works diligently to ensure before using this least preferred method of service, that all reasonable efforts have been made to avoid it, and if necessary, ensures that it is carried out properly.
